Obituary	ELIZABETH C. WELCH BRIDGTON - Elizabeth C. Welch, 72, of Raymond died Sunday, March 23rd at Bridgton Health Care Center in Bridgton following a long illness. She was born in Dexter, Maine a daughter of Harold and Blanche Crawford. A graduate of Husson Business School in Bangor she spent many years in the broadcast industry, working for TV stations WABI in Bangor and WGAN (Now WGME) in Portland. An advocate for cats, over the years, she took in many strays giving them a good home. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, O. Ditson Welch of Raymond, and two children, a daughter Melissa of Raymond; a son Eric and his wife Dona of Raymond and a granddaughter. She is also survived by a brother Robert Crawford; and his wife Retha of Dexter; a brother Charles Crawford and wife Barbara of Beverly, Massachusetts; sister Donna and husband Jim LeGasse of Pittsfield, Maine; a sister Evelyn Bruce of Dexter, and numerous nieces and nephews. No funeral is planned. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for friends and relatives.
