She was born in Dexter, ME and came here 20 years ago from Bath, ME where she owned and operated a book store with her late husband H. Ralph Forbes. She was a Catholic and was a member of the Organ Club at Betmar Acres. She is survived by her sister, Rose L. Morancie of Dexter, ME and several nieces and nephews.
