Obituary	LEAH B. CORBIN DEXTER - Leah B. Corbin, 82, died December 8, 2003, at a Dexter health care facility. She was born June 6, 1921, in Dexter, daughter of Ernest and Bertha (Mayo) Cloutier. Leah graduated from N.H. Fay High School, class of 1939. She worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Hans Shurman for 26 years and later for Dr. Ross until her retirement. In later years she came out of retirement to work in the deli at Bud's Shop N Save in Dexter. She was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter. Leah was in the church choir at St. Anne's, was a Cursillista member, a member of St. Anne's Guild and was a substitute organist. She also was a member of the Parish Council, Daughters of Isabella, and caretaker of the church for many years. She was a member of the Dexter Women's Literary Club and was an avid Bridge player. She was predeceased by her husband, James H. Corbin in 1993 and a daughter, Karen Ann Corbin in 1948. She is survived by 3 sons and their wives, Alan and Glenda Corbin of Corinna, Kevin and Andrealynn Corbin of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii and Jeffrey and Celia Corbin of E. Hampton, Connecticut; a daughter and her husband, Michele and Milton Pomroy of Dexter; a sister, Hildagard Gothrow of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends called December 11, 2003, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street in Dexter. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter with the Rev. Father Raymond Morency officiating. Spring burial will be in the Mt Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
