MOUNTAIN A Funeral Mass was held Wed- nesday morning at St. Anne's Ca- tholic Church, Dexter, for Mrs. Delia Marie Mountain, 89, widow of Peter Mountain, who died Sun- day at her home on Railroad ave. following a long illness. The Rev. Napoleon Madore offi- cia,ted. Bearers were: Eugene Mountain, Freeman Mountain, Pa- trick Poulin and Louis Mountain, all of Dexter., Interment was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. She was born Sept. 1, 1872, at St. Victor, Canada, the daughter of Thomas and Sylvia (Groleau) Higgins. She had been a resident of Dexter 78 years, and was a member of St. Anne's Church. She is survived by two sons, Matthis of Dexter and Anthony of Newport, N. H., three daughters, Mrs. Celeste Clark and Mrs. Rose Clukey, both of Silver Spring, Md., And Dexter, and Miss Elizabeth Mountain, with whom she made her home; 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
