Obituary	MRS. EFFIE HILL Mrs. Effie Hill, 71, wife of Mar- tin Hill, died at her home here last Wednesday after a long illness. Funeral services were held at Harveys Funeral Home, Guilford, Friday with Donald S. McCobb pastor of the United Church offi- ciating. Burial was in Sangerville Village Cemetery. The bearers were Maurice Davis, Colby Knowl- ton, Ralph McDermott and Clar- ence Moulton. Born in Dexter June 3, 1891, she was the daughter of Atwell S. and Hattie (Spooner) Davis. Mrs. Hill had, been a resident of Sangerville for 46 years with an interim of three years lived in Vermont. She was a former mem- ber of Susie Carr Chapter, O. E. S. and was a member of the Metho- dist Church of Saligerville. She is survived by her husband, by a daughter, Mrs. Orman Hilton of Gardiner; by four sisters: Mrs. Emma Pooler, Mrs. Sadie Ballard; Mrs. EIsie McDermitt, all of San- gerville; Mrs Faye Lowell of Milo. There are three grandchild dren, nieces and cousins.
