Obituary	GEORGE A. WORTHEN PITTSFIELD - George A. Worthen, 51, died Friday at a local hospital after a long ill- ness. He was born at Dexter Sep- tember 8, 1912, the son of Harry land Martha (Seavey) Worthen. He had been a resident here for the past 2O years and previ. ously had lived at Corinna. Un- tiII 1960 he had been employed by the Baxter Brothers at Hart- land and Corinna, retiring due to ill health. He attended the lo- cal Church of God. Survivors, besides his widow, Mrs. Sarah (Wright) Worthen, are a daughter, Frances Worth- len of Pittsfield; two sister, Mrs. Myrtle Carter of Corinna and Mrs. Beatrice Cray of Lakeport, N. H.; a brother, Kenneth Worthen of Detroit; and several aunts, uncles, nieces,- nephews and cousins.
