Obituary
Mrs. E. E. Freeman. Mrs. E. E. Freeman of 27 Court street, Augusta, passed quietly away, after a lingering illness, Sunday morning, Sept. 12. She will be remembered by many, as Miss Grace Gilman of Dexter, where her girlhood days were passed, living in Waterville some time, but removing to Augusta some five years ago, where her short married life was passed. A husband, a little daughter and a young son, 10 weeks old, mourn her loss, besides many near relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at her home, 27 Court street, Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 2.30 p. m., Rev. L. W. Coons of the Winthrop street Universalist church officiating, the church choir being in attendance. A delegation from Queen Temple, Pythian Sisters, of which the deceased was a member, were present, and the burial service of the order was used. The interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
