Obituary	EVELYN P. BRUCE DEXTER, Evelyn P. Bruce, 93, died November 13, 2006, at a Dexter health care facility. She was born December 31, 1912, in Dexter, daughter of Harold and Caro (Percival) Crawford. She graduated from Coney High School in Augusta and then Bates College in Lewiston. She taught school for over 30 years beginning in Guilford, then Mechanic Falls, Unity, and retired after 14 years at Deering High School in Portland. She was a member of the North Windham Church. She is survived by 2 sons, Duncan and his wife Heidi Bruce of NY, and Graham Bruce of CA; 2 brothers, Robert Crawford and his wife, Retha of Dexter and Charles Crawford and his wife, Barbara of MA; a sister Donna Lagasse and her husband, James of Dexter; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman T. Bruce, her sister Betty and a brother Kenneth. There will be no public services at this time.
