DEXTER -Sept . 28-- C. Call, 64, a former commercial photographer, died suddenly early Saturday evening at his home on Spring Street. Call had been associated with his father, Bert Call, in the oper- ation of Call's Photography Studio from 1920 until 1946. Since that time he had been employed by the Rustcraft Company. A lifelong resident of Dexter, he was born here May 25, 1894, the son of Albert L. and Carrie (Safford) Call. He held the rank of lieutenant-colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve. Educated in the Dexter schools, Call was a graduate of Bowdoin College in 1918 and was a mem- ber of Beta Theta Phi fraternity. He was a veteran of World War 1. He was a member of the Poul- liot-Seavey Post, American Le- gion; Penobscot Lodge, AP and AM; Anah Temple Shrine of Bangor; the First Universalist Church of Dexter, and of the Boneka Club of the church. Survivors are his, widow, Mrs. Beulah (Edies) Call, two daugh- ters, Mrs. Mary A. Hurd of Claremont, Cal., and Mrs. Jane Reed of Dexter; his parents of Dexter and seven grandchildren. The remains are at the Cros- by Funeral Home where friends may call. Funeral services will be Tues- day afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Universalist Church with The Rev. Richard Norsworthy, of- ficiating. Burial will be in Mt.Pleasant Cemetery.
