Obituary	HARRY SKILLINGS Funeral services were held Wed- nesday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home for Harry Skillings, 75, who died Monday at a Bur- ham nursing home after a long ill- ness. The Rev. Walter B. Wake- man of the First Baptist Church officiated. Interment was in the West Rip- ley Cemetery. Born at Ripley, June 12, 1882, he was the son of Samuel and Melin- da (Sibens) Skil-ings. He received his education in the Ripley schools but the greater part of his life was spent in Dexter where he was em- ployed in the woolen mills. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marion Crane of Sangerville; an adopted daughter, Mrs. Helen Dostie of Bangor; an adopted son, Donald Swan of Dexter; several nieces and nephews.
