Mrs. Elmira Lary Mrs. Elmira Lary, widow of the late John Lary, formerly of Dexter, occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. S. One son, Leslie, died in infancy, a daughter, Mrs. Myrtie Haskell, died In Bangor several years ago, and another daughter, Mrs. Lillian Oliver, in Laconia, N. H., last May. For twenty-nine years Mr. and Mrs. Lary were residents of Dexter, until about four years ago, when they went to Pittsfield to live with their daughter. Mrs. Lary was a woman of fine Christian character, and had many friends. She was a member of the Free Baptist church in this place and of Martha Washington Rebekah lodge. She leaves two sons, Prof. Stanley Lary of Cohasset, Mass., and J. Frank Lary of Worcester, Mass.; a daughter, Mrs. J. S. Haseltine of Pittsfield; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Randll of Uxbridge, Mass., and Mrs. Helen Tuck of Exeter. The funeral services were held at the Free Baptist church here Monday forenoon at 10.30 o'clock, Rev. O. S. Tracey of Pittsfield officiating, assisted by Rev. J. A. Wiggin, the pastor of the church. Messrs. O. W. Bridges, O. E. Blackden, T. D. Farrar and G. L. Gould were bearers. The music was furnished by a mixed quartet composed of Mrs. Edith Brewster, Miss Winifred Tasker, Albert Davis, Ralph Morgridge, with Clarence Keene as organist. A delegation of the Martha Washington lodge of Rebehabs attended. The flower pieces were many and beautiful. The interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
