Obituary	Mass Celebrated For Mrs. Green A Solemn High Mass was celebrated at St. Anne's Catholic Church Tuesday morning for Mrs. Margaret D. Green, 54, who died Sunday morning at the Plummer Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Officiating were the Rev. George Dulac of Dexter, the Rev. David Surette of Greenville and the Rev. Leo Carey of Dover-Foxcroft. Bearers were three sons-in-law, Norman Alley of Dexter, Herbert Richards, Garland, Linwood Bearce of Hartford, Conn., and Francis Wintle of Dexter. Remains were placed in Mt. Pleasant receiving tomb to await burial this spring. Mrs. Green was born June 4, 1899 in Ashton - in - Makefield, Wigam, England, daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Chadnock) Davies. She came to this country about 30 years ago. During her residence in Dexter she was employed in the local woolen mills. An active member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, she was chancellor of Ascension Circle, Daughters of Isabella; a member of St. Anne's Sodality and the Good Will Society, as well as a member of the auxiliary to Poulliot-Seavey Post 53, American Legion. Besides her husband, George, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Virginia Alley, Dexter, Mrs. Rosalie Bearce of Hartford, Conn., Mrs. Stella Richards of Garland, and Cecile of Dexter; four grandchildren; one brother, Samuel Davies, England; five sisters, Mrs. Hanna Bradley, Mrs. Emma Sargent, Mrs. Agnus Murtagh, Mrs. Sally Hogg and Mrs. Nellie Edwards, all of England. note: photo accompanied obituary
