Hold Funeral Services For Arthur E. Inman Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the First Free Baptist Church for Arthur E. Inman, 80, who died Sunday morning at his home on the Dover road after a short illness, The Rev. Donald Macomber officiated. Bearers were: Harold Cousins, Nathan Pease, Earle Ellms and Ervin Leighton, all of Dexter. The remains were entombed and burial will take place this spring at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Mr. Inman was born in Garland, Feb. 11, 1872, son of Ira and Martha (Young) Inman. Most of his life had been spent in Dexter, where he was engaged in market gardening and bee raising. April 23, 1900 he married Kate Roberts, who survives. A member of the First Free Baptist Church, he was also formerly active in the Grange. Besidess his wife, Kate, he is survived by three sons, Stanley of Sangerville, Harvey of Calais and Theodore of Dexter; three grandchildren, Rebecca, student at Providence Bible Institute, R. I., Virginia and Theodore, Jr., of Dexter; one sister, Mrs. Thurza Whiting of Detroit. The Inmans celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary April 23, 1950. Mr. Inman was a carpenter and in the past has worked at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. A lover of flowers, both he and his wife spent many pleasant hours in their garden, which was a joy to the neighbors and those passing the Inman home on the Dover road.
