Obituary	MRS. IDA M. BOWDOIN Mrs. Ida M. (Wentworth) Bowdoin, widow of the late Charles R. of Ripley and mother of Clifton W. Bowdoin, passed away after a brief Illness at her home, 111 Bowen street, Providence, R. I., Sunday afternoon, Jan. 4. There were calling hours and a brief service of prayer at the Sherman Drabble Funeral Home in Providence Monday evening. Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church in Cambridge Wednesday noon with the Rev. Quentin Johnson officiating. Bearers were Clarence Pierce, George Safford of Dexter, Glen Ring and Frank Quimby of Cambridge. The body was placed in the receiving tomb in Mt. Pleasant cemetery for burial in the spring in the family lot in Ferndale cemetery in Ripley. She was born in Parkman Sept. 21, 1864. Before her marriage she was a teacher in Cambridge and neighboring towns. After her husband's death in 1894, she made her home for many years in Dexter and in Brunswick, moving to Providence, R. I. with her son 35 years ago. Besides her son, she is survived by a grandson, Charles Clifton Bowdoin, and several nieces and nephews.
