Obituary
Death of Frank E. Dustin. It was with much sorrow our people learned Monday by a despatch from Fort Payne, Ala., that there was little hopes of our former townsman, Frank E. Dustin living more than a few days. His brother-in-law, Charles E. Morse started for Fort Payne at once, but Wednesday word came that Mr. Dustin was dead. To Mr. Dustin's own family the blow falls doubly severe coming as it does so soon after the death of his brother and father. He went south with the hope that the milder climate would be favorable for his recovery from the illness contracted during a former visit there. It was in the first starting of the Dustin & Hubbard, shops there that he while still ill with la grippe, over exerted himself, and sank as it proves never to recover. Dexter owes much to the enterprise of Mr. Dustin and those associated with him in former years, in starting the machine business in Dexter and building it up to be one of the important industries of the town; he was born and bred here and has a host of friends who will mourn his untimely death. He leaves a wife and four young children, three of whom are with their grandmother, Mrs. C. W. Morse in Dexter. Died. DUSTIN--At Fort Payne, Ala., Nov. 26, Frank E. Dustin formerly of Dexter, aged 37 years 11 months and 2 days.
