Obituary	Died. SAFFORD--In Dexter, May 11th, Mrs. Hannah Safford, wife of Arthur B. Safford, aged 51 years. The Eastern State 5-16-1890 Mrs. Hannah A. Fifield, wife of Arthur B. Safford, died at her home in Dexter, May 11, aged fifty-six years. Mrs. Safford was born in Dexter and has passed her days here, and is well-known by our citizens as a woman of more than ordinary ability. During twenty-six consecutive winters while her husband was absent in Florida, she cared faithfully to every interest of the home and has continued to take a large part of the care since his return. She was a kind and affectionate wife and her departure leaves her husband in deepest sorrow. She also leaves two brothers and many acquaintances and friends who mourn their loss. For five weeks previous to her death she was a great sufferer, but through all was remarkably patient and seemed to fully appreciate all that was done for her relief. We would commend the husband so sorely bereft to the kindly sympathy of all our people. The Dexter Gazette 5-21-1890
