Obituary
William Wagg William Wagg died from the effects of his injuries last Thursday afternoon. At one time there was encouragement that he might recover but a turn for the worse destroyed this hope. Although his limbs were paralyzed his mind was clear to the last and he made all necessary arrangements, realizing he could not live long. Mr. Wagg had been in the employ of the Maine Central railroad for a long time and although over 70 years old he was remarkably strong and vigorous until he received the injury last week. He leaves a wife, daughter, Mrs. Lem. Baker of Auburn, and son Frank of Waterville. The funeral was held at the house Sunday noon, Rev. H. B. Haskell officiating. The remains were taken to Kingfield Monday morning for burial. The floral offerings were beautiful and numerous.
