Obituary	Betsey Swanton Mrs. Betsey Swanton died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Dexter, on Maple street, last Thursday night at the great age of 94 years and three days. The funeral was held at the house last Sunday afternoon, Rev. Theodore Kinney officiating. Mrs. Swanton leaves five daughters and three sons, Mrs. Henry Dexter, Mrs. Sarah Swanton, Mrs. Georgia Drew of Dexter, Mrs. Ann Dexter of Foxcroft, Mrs. Joseph Chase of Dover, Frank and William Swanton of Massachusetts and Albert Swanton of New Hampshire. OBITUARY. Mrs. Elizabeth Swanton passed away in Dexter, Me., Aug. 7th, aged 94 years and 3 days. She was a faithful and loving mother of ten children, two of whom (a son and daughter) had passed on before. Eight now living are Mrs. Sarah Swanton of Dexter, Mr. W. H. Swanton of Newton Centre, Mass., Miss Ann M. Dexter of Presque Isle, Me., Miss Catherine Chase of Dover, Me., Mr. Albert Swanton of Conway, N. H., Mr. Frank Swanton of Attleboro, Mass., Mrs. H. P. Dexter, with whom she has made her home for the past sixteen years and Mrs. Georgia Dews of Philadelphia. The family desire to express their sincere thanks to the many friends and neighbors for their kindness and beautiful flowers in their time of affliction.
