Obituary	The death of John Gordon, who lived on the old Spooner farm on the road leading south from the Russell schoolhouse, occurred Monday afternoon. He had been ailing for a day or two and news of his death was a surprise to the townspeople who supposed him to be in rugged health. He was a good neighbor and a very worthy man. His age was 64 years.
