Obituary	Mrs. George Filmore Mrs. George Filmore of Silver’s Mills died last Thursday at her home of consumption aged 28 years. The funeral was held Saturday and the remains were placed in the receiving tomb. (2-13-1902, p.5) Mrs. George Filmore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alven Gilman of Silver's Mills, aged 28 years, died Jan. 23, at her home, of consumption. She bore her long and painful sickness with great courage and resignation, being of a sweet and loving disposition. She had very many loving and true friends, who stood by her to the last. A short time before her death she gave her heart to Christ and was very happy, singing and shouting for joy, and calling on all her friends to meet her in Heaven. She leaves a sorrowing husband, one little boy, 4 years old, a father, three brothers and many other relatives and friends, who sincerely mourn their great lose. All have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in their hours of sorrow and sadness. The funeral was held at her late home, the 25th, where quite a large number of relatives, friends and neighbors assembled to pay their last respects to a beloved and esteemed friend and neighbor. The singing was by the choir from Gilman. Services were conducted by Rev. A. P. Andrews.
