Obituary	HARRY W. BRAWN Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home for Harry W. Brawn, 75, who died Oct. 23 at his home after a long illness. The Rev. Donald Macomber of the Free Baptist Church officiated. Bearers were: associates of the deceased at Bailey Motors: Arthur Brown, Chester Bailey, Eldin Gould and Basil Haining. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Born in Dexter, Aug. 21, 1877, son of Frank and Pamelia (Washburn) Brawn, he spent his entire life here, was employed at the local post office at one time and served as a rural carrier for 17 years. For 32 years he was an automobile salesman, and retired in November 1950 as sales manager of the Bailey Motor Company. He was a former member of the Odd Fellows, Rebekahs and Grange and is a member of the Masonic lodge. Surviving are his wife, Florence; one son, Hildon Brawn of Dexter; one daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Wakefield, Bath and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Harriet Colby, Dexter; five grandsons, several nieces and nephews.
