Obituary	ROY UPTON Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home for Roy Upton, 60, who died Sunday at the local hospital after a few years of failing health. The Rev. Donald Macomber of the Free Baptist Church officiated. Bearers were: Harold French, Clarence Beverly, Keith Wentworth,, George Safford, Richard Gudroe and Robert Henderson. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. He was born in Ft. Fairfield, June 27, 1892, son of George A. and Margaret (Bridges) Upton. In former years he was a salesman, a general appliance stare manager, and for years operated a taxi here. For the past few years he has been employed by the Fayscott Corporation. He is survived by his wife, Hazel; a son, Wade; a daughter, Marian, all of Dexter; a stepson, Robert Ackley, Portland; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy DuBourdieu, Newport, N. H.; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
