Obituary
CECIL HARTSON WEBBER Private funeral services for Cecil Hartson Webber, 81, were held at the residence on Spring street Monday afternoon. Mr. Webber died at his home Friday after a long illness. The Rev. Joseph M. Clare of the Methodist church officiated. Bearers were: George Ramsdell, Harry Smith, Merle Dubay and Ernest Gerry. A committal service and interment was in the Sangerville Village cemetery. Mr. Webber was born Dec. 20, 1870, in Bedford, Mass., son of T. Langdon and Charlotte (Godding) Webber. As a young man he learned the plumbers' and sheet metal trade in Guilford. He lived in Ripley for a time, and 30 years ago came to Dexter where he has since carried on a plumbing business. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Cecil H. Hopkins of Old Orchard, Cecilia Webber of Norway and Charlotte B. Webber of Dexter; one son, Hartson C. Webber, Dexter, two brothers, John B. of Ripley and Willis of Wakefield, Mass., five sisters, Mrs. Alice W. Hill, Miss Carrie I. Webber, Mrs. Grace L. Cyphers, all of Dexter; Mrs. Elsie Osborne, Boston and Mrs. Louise Charbonneau, St. Petersburg, Fla., three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
