Obituary	Bertha May Winslow On Wednesday April 25th, Bertha Mary Winslow passed away at her home in Lynn, Mass., after an illness of several months of consumption. She was the eldest daughter of Waldo and Leila (Brown) Winslow and was born in Dexter Sept. 2nd,1884. When she was seven years of age her parents moved to Lynn, and Bertha remained in Dexter for two years with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel A. Winslow. She attended our schools and also the schools in Lynn, graduating from Lynn English High school at the age of sixteen. She then entered the Normal Art school at Boston for a four years course. Here she showed unmistakable artistic abiity and was looking forward to years of usefulness in her chosen profession: but her health began to fail about a year ago and she was obliged to give up her studies within a few weeks of her graduation. Last summer was spent in Dexter where she renewed acquaintance with old friends and made many new ones, attracting young and old by her beautiful personality. The funeral services were held last Friday in Lynn and the remains were brought to Dexter Saturday morning for interment in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant.
