Obituary	Dexter's Centenarian. We mentioned last week the feeble condition of Mrs. Phebe Campbell, and that she could survive but a few days longer. Her death occurred Tuesday morning, her age being 102 years, five months and 18 days. She retained her mental faculties nearly to the last. It is quite probable she was the oldest person in the State. She was born in Readfield, but lived the greater part of her life with her husband John Campbell, in the town of Belgrade. She afterwards lived with her children in Athens for some time, coming to Dexter twenty-four years ago. She has been a unique figure among the old people of Maine for several years and much has been published regarding her. She was very industrious, an inveterate smoker, but very regular in her habits. She has been about the house, walking without the aid of a cane, until within a few months. She was of a very pleasant disposition and quite intelligent. Her funeral services occurred yesterday in the afternoon, Rev. Mr. Gould of the Universaslist church officiating. To-day her remains were taken to Athens for burial.
