Obituary
RAYMOND J. PERRY Funeral services were held Thursday morning at St. Anne's Catholic Church for Raymond Joseph Perry, 44, who died Sept. 1, at the Plummer Hospital after a long illness. The Very Rev. C. J. Enright officiated. Bearers were Bernard Morancie, Albert Folsom, Francis Cobb, Romeo Vigue, Francis Conway and Paulo Mountain. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. He was born in Dexter, Sept. 7, 1907, of Mrs. Rose (Pooler) Perry of Peabody, Mass., and the late Charles Perry. Most of his life was spent in this town where he was a foreman in the card room at the Amos Abbott Mill. He is survived by his mother; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothea Levesque of Ripley and Miss Evelyn Perry of New Bedford, Mass.; two sons, Raymond of New Bedford and Freeman in the Marine Corps en route to Korea; one sister, Mrs. Cecelia Brown, Peabody, Mass., and three grandchildren of Ripley.
