Obituary	Samuel Davenport, an old resident of this village, died last Thursday at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Staples, aged 94 years. The deceased was born in Lower Brighton, N. B. but he has resided here for a long time. He leaves eight children, two of them, Mrs. Staples and Mrs. Pendexter, residing here. Rev. H. J. Piper of the Free Baptist church officiated at the funeral and the interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
