Obituary	Mrs. Vinal M. Lamson, Secretary To Board Of Assessors, Dies Mrs. Vinal Maxwell Lamson died, yesterday at a local Hospitals fol- lowing by a few hours the death of her infant son. Mrs. Lamson has served as sec- retary to the Board of Assessors for the past 17 years. A cheerful worker, she built up a host of friends during her service at City Hall. She was born in Dexter, May 22, 1906, the youngest daughter of the late Milford H. and Edith J. Salley, and was graduated from high, school in that town. She has lived in Bangor since her marriage. Besides her husband, she is sur- vived by a brother, Leon F. Salley of Thompsonville, Conn.; two sis- ters, Mrs. Fred M. Nason and Mrs. Ralph P. Salisbury, both of Ban- gor and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus W. Lamson, 903 Hammond steet, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Friends may call Thurday afternoon.
