Obituary	MRS. ADDISON GILMAN Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Gilman, 78, wife of Addison Gilman, were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Universalist Church with the minister, the Rev. J. Robert Bath, officiating. Bearers were: Glen C. Ayer, Reynold F. Thompson, Harold Getchell and Earl Z. Crowell. Mrs. Gilman died early Sunday morning at a Waterville hospital where she had been a patient for four weeks. She was born in Cornville, May 30, 1874, one of seven children of Henry T. and Adelaide (Hall) Flanders. She was a past noble grand of Sterling Rebekah lodge of Madison, and has been active in Martha Washington Rebekah lodge since coming here more than 40 years ago. She was a former president of the First Universalist. Ladies Aid, a past president of the Dexter Garden Club and a member of the U. F. Club. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Eugene of Plainfield, N. J., and Harold, Arlington , N. J., one brother, Harry L. Flanders, Carpinteria, Calif.; five grandsons, several nieces and nephews.
