Obituary	FRED MONTELL JEWETT DEXTER, May 25 - Fred Mon- tell Jewett, 81, died Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Shirley Bugbee, following a long illness, Born here June 17, 1872, he was the son of Oringe and Sarah (Ma- goon) Jewett. He was for many years employed by the Fay and Scott Machine Shop and retired eight Years ago. He was a lifelong member of the Methodist church. Surviving are his daughter: two sons, Earold and Ray, both of Rochester, N. Y.; six grandchil- dren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be con- ducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Church by the Rev. Hartwell Daily. Burial will be in the family lot in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
