JERE MOUNTAIN DEXTER, Jan. 10-Jere Moun- tain, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis N. Mountain, died Saturday morn- ing at a local hospital where he had been a surgical patient. His passing came as a distict sock to his many-friends in town. As he was an outstanding Young man in character and morals and very popular among the student body of the N. H. Fay High school, where he was a junior. In school he was an outstanding student, a member of the National Honor Society. He was a valued member of last season's baseball team, a hockey player, a former manager of basketball, and president of his class In 1941-1942. He also was altar boy at St. Ann's Catholic church. Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Cynthia and Louise; two brothers, Philip and Charles; and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at St. Ann's Catholic church Monday morning at 9 o'clock with a Requiem High Mass. The bearers will be classmates and friends of the deceased, and include Robert Thompson, Rodney Page, John Doble, Maurice Clukey, Clifford Doyon, and Keith Farn- ham. Honorary bearers will be Blaine Williams, Kenneth Farnham and Norman Tetu.
