Obituary
John E. Flagg Dies At Age 74 John E. Flagg, 74, died Wednesday evening at a local nursing home after several months' illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. at the Crosby Funeral Home, the Rev. Joseph M. Clare of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The Odd Fellows will attend in a body. He was born in Hudson, Feb. 18, l878, the son of Daniel and Sara Raymond Flagg. He had lived in Dexter 33 years. The greater part of the time he was employed in the dye house at the Amos Abbott Company. He was a past noble grand of Plymouth Lodge, IOOF, and a past master of the Grange at Glenburn. Besides his wife, Stella, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie French and Miss Louise Flagg; a grandson, John P. French, all of Dexter; a sister, Mrs. Adwina Bubier, of Hudson, several nieces and nephews.
