Obituary	HILDA M. THOMPSON DEXTER - Hilda M. Thompson, 78, died Feb. 16, 1997, at a Skowhe- gan hospital. She was born Sept. 27, 1918, at Dexter, the daughter of Al- fred and Rosa (White) Pearl. She was married to Lawrence L. Thomp- son who predeceased her on Dec. 21, 1981. Hilda was employed for a time at Dexter Shoe Company be- fore moving to Massachusetts, where she was employed at several woolen mills. She returned to Dex- ter in 1975, after retiring. She is sur- vived by two sons, Otis of Plains- ville, Conn. and Kenneth of Dexter, one daughter, Elaine Woodbury of Dexter; two brothers, Guy Pearl of Dexter and Dona Pearl of Ellington, Conn.; seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, several nieces and nephews. There will be no services at this time Graveside committal services will be held in the spring at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Do- nations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Associa- tion, P.O. Box 2208, Augusta 04338- 2208. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter.
