Obituary	The many friends of Mrs. Percy Lander were greatly shocked to learn of her sudden death which occured at her home in Corinna last Saturday morning. She had been in her usual health and there was no suspicion of illness. Her mother, Mrs. Priscilla Spooner of this town, went into her room early in the morning and found her unconscious. A physician was summoned but pronounced her dead. Mrs. Lander was born in Dexter in 1878, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Spooner, and resided here until her marriage to Percy W. Lander. They then moved to Corinna and have resided there most of the time. Mrs. Lander graduated from the Dexter High school, class of 1896, and was highly regarded. Her classmates and many friends will cherish her memory and sincerely mourn her death. The funeral services were held at the home of her mother in this town last Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Henry Arnold of Corinna officiating. The interment was in Mount Pleasant cemetery.
