Obituary	Gladys Ruth Bowdoin, daughter of Mrs. Ida M. Bowdoin, aged 12 years, died at the home of her mother on lower Main street last Monday morning after a brief illness. The cause was heart failure. She went to sleep Sunday night and never awoke. She is survived by a mother and a younger brother. Gladys was a very bright child and much beloved by all. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday morning at ten o'clock, Rev. Dr. Whittemore officiating. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. The remains were taken to Ripley for interment.
