C. FRANK YOUNG Frank Young, 76, died July 6 in a Bangor hospital. He had been in poor health for two years but the last sickness was of only two days' duration. Funeral services were held last Tuesday at the Morse's Corner Baptist Church, with the Rev. A. Allan Brough of Dexter officiating. The burial was in the family lot in the Morse's Corner cemetery. Bearers were Clifford Lawrence, Lawrence Parker and Irving Leathers, neighbors at Morse's Corner, and Clyde Stevens of East Newport. His parents were William and Mary (Quimby) Young and he was born in East Boston, Oct. 11, 1875, where he lived and went to school. He married Miss Jennie Springer of Dayton. They lived in Dexter until coming to Corinna about 35 years ago. He was employed in the Fay & Scott Machine Shop, and was a member of the Fay & Scott and Dexter baseball teams. For the past few years he was employed in the Otto potato house at Corinna. He was a member of the East Boston IOOF Lodge for many years. He is survived by a son, Alvin Young of Corinna; four grandchildren, Pfc. Linwood L. Young of the Air Force, now stationed in England, and Lorna Young of Corinna, Gerald Hall of New Hampshire, and Danville Hall of Dexter, and a brother, Alvin Young of Watch Hill, R. I., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
