OBITUARY. Mrs. W. P. Mower was buried from her late home Friday, April 17th, and laid to rest in the cemetery near by. She had been an invalid for twenty years but possessing a strong will had attended to her household duties the most of the time. She was beloved by all who knew her, always cheerful, even when suffering. She was born in North Anson May 2, 1836, was in the west several years and made teaching a profession until married in 1869. She united with the Congregational church in Madison at the age of sixteen years. After her marriage she united with the Baptist church, Dexter, with her husband. The services were conducted by Rev. H. B. Woods. At her request Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Mower sang several selections. She leaves a husband and three daughters who have the sympathy of their many friends.
