Obituary	Our people were greatly surprised and grieved last Thursday afternoon to learn of the death of Mrs. Charles D. Roberts. Mrs. Roberts had been in delicate health for a long time although but few knew she was seriously ill until they heard of her death. She was taken with pneumonia a few days before and her death was caused by heart failure. Mrs. Roberts was greatly beloved by a large circle of friends who sincerely mourn her death. She was the daughter of Samuel grant of this village. She leaves a husband and little daughter. The funeral was held at her late home last Sunday afternoon at one o'clock, Rev. W. H. Gould officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. A. P. Abbott and Mrs. S. L. Small. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. The bearers were H. A. Blethen, E. H. Jones, O. W. Bridges and E. A. Brewster. The remains were placed in the receiving tomb.
