Obituary	OBITUARY. MRS. ELEANOR PATIENCE HAYES. Ended here a beautiful life Began on a fairer shore. We mourn the loss of an angel, Heaven rejoices far more. With last Saturday morning, Jan. 31, came the peaceful release from suffering of Mrs. Eleanor Patience Hayes, wife of the late Ira F. Hayes, and only surviving child of Moses and Patience Gilman. Mrs. Hayes came here when a child from New Hampshire with her parents, who were among the early settlers of the town of Sangerville, and had she lived a few days would have been 76 years of age. She leaves two children who have ministered to her every want with untiring hand. They are Mrs. Ida Rich and Stephen Wentworth and certainly they can rise up and call her blessed. She always saw the sunshine instead of the shadow, thinking more of others' comfort than her own suffering, even in her last moments. Her life was spotless and truly as near perfection as could be attained by human mortal. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at Gilman's Corner, her late home. Sweetly rest dear, weary pilgrim, All your vain and suffering o'er. With her loved ones she's united, Gone a little while before.
