Obituary
Dr. O. M. Robinson of District No. 10, who had been sick for a long time died at his home last Monday. He had been very low for some time and his death was not unexpected. He leaves a wife and several children. His age was 63 years. He was a member of Dexter Grange and highly respected by a large circle of friends. The funeral was held at his late home Tuesday afternoon, Rev. H. B. Woods, pastor of the Baptist church, officiating. Mr. Orlando M. Robinson died at his home in Dexter, Jan. 18, aged 63 years. He was the oldest son of John and Mary Miller Robinson of St. Albans. He has suffered from progressive paralysis for several years. His mother still lives in the old home at the advanced age of 90 years. To her his death, is especially hard as she was not able to see him during the last weeks of his life. The last time he left his home was to visit her. He leaves a wife and four small children in Dexter, five children in Minnesota, a sister, Mrs. Lorinda Genthner of St. Albans, and two brothers, Dr. F. J. Robinson of Fairfield and Prof. C. M. Robinson, Toledo, Ohio. He was of an exceedingly sympathetic nature, a warm friend whose ready assistance has cheered many sad hearts. He was for many years a manufacturer of proprietary medicine and through his leading article, Balm of Oil, he has become widely known throughout his own State. Of late years he has been a successful orchardist and leaves a fine orchard as a monument of his hard work which will last long after those who knew him have passed away.
