Obituary	Mrs. Ruth B. Corson The many friends of Mrs. Ruth B. Corson, were saddened to learn of her death which occurred at her home, 14 Highland street, Auburn, on the evening of Dec, 28th. She was well known and beloved by many here, having been a resident of this town for several years. Mrs. Corson was born in Sandwich, N. H., in 1831, coming to Dexter with her parents, Henry W., and Eliza A. Bean, in 1841. In 1851 she was married to Frances Corson of the place, and, while she was deeply devoted to her husband and children, she also loved the church of which she was a loved and faithful member, both of the Universalist church here and the Elm street church of Auburn. She was also an earnest worker in the W. C. T. U. of Lewiston. She loved particularly to labor for the sick and suffering ones; was tender, loving and sympathetic, ever hiding her own sorrows that must come, to cheer and comfort others, and, while her life at last passed out so peacefully after several weeks of sickness, yet her friends deemed not the end was so near. She has gone to that beautiful home in Heaven, where partings are no more, to meet dear ones there and she awaits the coming of the loved ones here. Besides a husband she leaves three daughters, Mrs. Caro Folsome, of East Auburn, Cal.; Mrs. Belle Mellen, of Brockton, Mass., and Mrs. Blanche Jones, also of Brockton; one son, Wallace, of Auburn. She also leaves two brothers, John R. Bean, Brighton, Mass., and Charles F. Bean of Dexter, and three sisters, Mrs. Betsey Fitzgerald, and Mrs. Emma Bryant, of Pennsylvania; and Mrs. Mary Curtis, of Addison, Maine.
