Obituary	Elvira S. Mower Mrs. Elvira S. Mower died at the home of her son, Henry Mower, Dec. 27th last at the age of 93 years, 11 months, 24 days. So far as known she was the oldest person in town with one exception. She has been a very active Christian woman all through her long life and preserved her faculties to the last, reading in her bible the Sunday before her death. She had lived on the place where she died for 72 years. She was a member of the Methodist church and had been a great worker in its interest. She leaves a son, Henry Mower, and daughter, Mrs. Clara Bailey of California, having buried five children. The funeral was held at the house last Friday, Rev. B. G. Seaboyer officiating, assisted by Rev. I. B. Mower of Waterville.
