Obituary	Charles H. Lowell. Charles H. Lowell, one of our old and highly respected citizens, passed away at his home on the Garland road, Tuesday noon, after a long illness, aged 67 years, l0 months. Mr. Lowell was a man who will be greatly missed. A good and upright citizen, he won the regard of all and his death will be sincerely mourned by all who knew him. He was one of the lst Maine cavalry, the regiment that was in more engagements than any other in the civil war. He belonged to H. F. Safford Post, G. A. R., Dexter Grange, P. of H., and Penobscot Lodge, F. &, A. M., and was an honored member in all these orders. He leaves a wife and one daughter, Mrs. Orpha Stewart. The funeral will be at the home Saturday at 1 o'clock, Rev. W. H. Gould officiating.
