Obituary	Mrs. Miriam M. Atkins died at her home on Center street last Friday after a long and painful illness, aged 69 years. The funeral services were held in the Free Baptist church, of which she was a member, last Sunday afternoon, Rev. J. L. Sanders officiating. She leaves two brothers and other relatives.
