Obituary	ALTON L."Pat" GOULD RIPLEY - -Alton L. "Pat" Gould, 85, died March 1,1999 at a Do- ver-Foxcroft hospital. He was born Nov. 18, 1913, in Ripley, the son of Harry and Luck(Skillings) Gould. He was a woodsman and farmer all of his life. He was an avid horseman and a member of the Maine Draft Horse Association. He is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Deering of Ripley and Anita and her husband, John Jewett of Dexter:a daughter-in- law,Emile Gould of Dexter; eight grandchil- dren, 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeased by his wife, Gertrude(Downing) Gould in 1975; two sons, Robert Gould and Blaine Gould and a brother, Guy Gould. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Crosby and Neal Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with spring burial in Ferndale Cemetery in Ripley.
