Obituary
Frank Wheeler Frank Wheeler, one of Dexter’s well-known citizens, died at the home on Railroad avenue last Thursday afternoon, the cause of his death being cancer of the stomach, of which he had been sick since last October. Wheeler was 64 years of age, and was born and has always lived in Dexter. He was one of the best-known horsemen in this section, having been for the most of' his business life engaged in the livery business here, retiring about a year ago on account of failing health. He is survived by a widow and three sons, Fred, who is landlord of the Exchange hotel, Charles, in E. H. Bemis' meat market, and Frank Wheeler, Jr., who lives at home; and one daughter, Mrs. Mamie Cooley, of this place. The funeral was held at the home Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. J. Cheater Hyde officiating. The interment was in Elmwood cemetery.
