Obituary	GILBERT H. SLEIGHT DEXTER and GARLAND - Gilbert H. Sleight, 72, died unexpectedly at Mayo Regional Hospital in Do- ver- Foxcroft on Aug. 27, 1997. He was born Nov. 24, 1924, in Canada. He was a World War 11 veteran and belonged to the American Legion in Dexter. He loved hunting, fishing and puttering around on things. He is survived by two daughters, Mary A. Kennedy and Karan L. Sleight, both of Dexter; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Mildred Dube, Lucien and Charlene Dube, Gerald and Irene Dube, all of Dexter; and a sister, Janet Holgerson of Connecticut; one granddaughter, Kimberly Polichak of Dexter; one grandson, Troy Nightingale of Garland; two great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Leone Palmer. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with Father Amato officiating.
