Obituary	MRS. IRENE N. BRIGGS Mrs. Irene N. Briggs died at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital Thursday morning after a long illness. Funeral services were held at Harvey's Funeral Home, Guilford Saturday, with the Rev. Howard Hamlin officiating. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edward Rybak of Meriden, Conn., and Mrs. Dominic Giordano of Sangerville; by a son, Clayto Beckwith of Auburn, Cal.; by a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Shove of Great Barrington, Mass.; by two brothers, Warren Mather of Hartford, Conn., and Raymond Mather of San Leandro, Cal., and 15 grandchildren.
