Obituary	Mrs. John R. Patterson. Mrs. John R. Patterson died at her home on Free street last Thursday, evening, April 14th. She had been suffering from a hard cold which terminated in heart failure. Miss Annie Cameron was born in Scotland in 1826 and in 1853 she came to America and the same year was married to Mr. Patterson in Tarryville, Conn. They moved to this town in 1858 and resided a time and then went to Amesbury, Mass. In 1873 they returned to Dexter and have since made it their home. Mrs. Patterson was a woman of many noble qualities and was highly regarded by our people. She leaves a husband. three sons, John, William and Robert, and one daughter, Mrs. Walter Scott, with whom they reside. Two of her sons, John and Robert of St. Paul, Minn., arrived here Monday in time to attend the funeral service. The funeral was held at the house Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. J. G. Fisher officiating. Interment was in Mount Pleasant cemetery.
