Obituary	Gardner R. Cookson Gardner Cookson, 53, of this, town died at Togus Saturday night where he had been a patient for three months. He was a veteran of the first World War, and also served four years in the Philippine Islands. He leaves a wife, the former Lois Towle of this town and a young son, Robert, also the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Rilla McKenney of Dexter; Mrs. Eva Sibley of Guilford; Mrs. Alace Hitchburn of East Corinth Mrs. Nellie Morrison of Dexter; James and Richard Cookson of Dexter; Mike Cookson, Dover-Foxcroft; Mrs. Janet Young, Seaside, Calif. Funeral services were held in Guilford Wednesday at 2 o'clock at Harvey's funeral home.
